I’m passionate about motorsport, filming and editing. I love to combine them where I can and I’ve supported the Classic Sports Car Club for several years, creating video content for their social media channels. These include promotional videos for new series, series sponsors and highlight reels.
British Motorcycle Racing Club
Took some new gear out for a spin at Brand Hatch to make sure everything worked smoothly for the start of the CSCC season. A new challenge filming bikes! A little bit different for me and not as much fun being stuck behind the fences!
Speed!
I’ve had the pleasure of filming at a few tracks for the first time this year. Anglesey, Thruxton and Spa have all been great fun with their own unique challenges. But despite being new to me biggest challenge remains the same as any other circuit or the calendar: getting a wide variety of shots, covering all the series in the CSCC.
Thruxton was no exception. As usual I spent Saturday morning soaking up the atmosphere in the paddock, the headed out to explore vantage points during qualifying. Despite the lack of features, it’s a great track to film. The open nature of the circuit makes it easy to access most areas, giving you the ability to cover a number of corners and still make it back to the pits during a race.
Spa Summer Classic
What a great track for my first overseas filming trip! The weather was hot to say the least, but that didn’t distract from a fab weekend of filming.
