It wouldn’t be Christmas without a cheeky mulled wine at an xmas market. The Southbank Christmas Market is always a great visit, with a huge choice of food and warming spirits. There was a little train track this year that our three year old loved (but wasn’t quite long enough to justify the expense!). We ended up sipping mulled cider in a little cider house, which doubled as a perfect place to sit and feed two little kids.
Coolings nature trail is our go to place for an escape from the house. It’s always good for a short walk, ending with lunch in the Cafe. There’s animals for the kids to feed, but the real fun is had in the little houses and tree tunnel. The crisp winter air made of for a cold but enjoyable walk, and the shop provided an opportunity to buy a few stocking fillers.

Our summer holiday at the Sensatori in Crete. Second time we went!
My sister organises a BBQ at our folks place on the coast each summer. She even manages to make sure the sun shines!
Elyssa was very excited to bump into her little buddy at the Nature Trail. All agreed that the diggers were amazing.
