You don’t expect ramping kids at Ightham Mote, but that was the scene today. (We were even encouraged to break the usual rules of picnicing in the grounds). Typically associated with an older generation, National Trust gardens are a great escape for the under 5s and there’s often organised events. This week the bluebells are in full bloom, giving a splash of colour to our Easter trip.
